This company was founded by a homeowner just like you. He wanted to make his kitchen beautiful but had to go through the often painful standards of the remodeling industry - confusing bids, questionable contractors asking for large down payments, multiple subcontractors, ridiculously long project timelines, limited materials choices, and generally poor service. With a background in both the military and venture capital, he knew the industry needed to evolve. And so, Evolution Kitchens was born.
We are built around the concept of changing the industry, making it more transparent, less expensive, quicker, and yes, even fun!

We believe the biggest challenge to scaling a business like this is not finding the demand. People will always want a new kitchen. The biggest challenge is building and retaining the team. It’s a riddle, and we’ve solved it with RITTL – Respect, Incentive, Training, Tools & Love. Yes, Love. We are more than co-workers, we're "brothers" who watch out for each other and push each other to constantly improve both professionally and personally.
• Respect - We understand respect is a 2 way street. We treat our employees like the valued partners they are.
• Incentive - Our most junior employees start at a living wage of $45,000 a year if they work full time. In addition, 20% of the profits from every project goes into a pool and is shared among the employees on that project. Within 2 years, a junior employee can make it to an Operations Manager role. These pay $75,000 a year plus bonus. For those truly dedicated, the role of General Manager of a store awaits. This pays over $100,000. We're growing so fast that we need lots of General Managers!
• Training - Every new employee gets a dedicated trainer who they apprentice under. With our kitchen only focus we ensure every employee is trained fully on all aspects of kitchen remodels (excluding plumbing and electrical). In addition, the company participates on ongoing training on many facets of remodeling. We're never done learning and improving at Evolution Kitchens!
• Tools - Having the right tools for the job makes all the difference, Our company policy is to never decline a request for a new tool, and we buy only the best tools - sorry Ryobi!
• Love - The real difference maker. When they join our team, we give folks who may have never felt valued at other jobs a sense of home and family.
Our team is the backbone of our operations. Each member, from design consultants to installation experts, plays a crucial role in delivering the high standards that Evolution Kitchens is known for. Their skills, dedication, and attention to detail are what make our kitchen remodels stand out.
Glenn started Evolution Kitchens in 2019 to turn his passion for creating amazing living spaces for his family into a career. He has 30 years' experience in business management, including 12 years rebuilding Iraq and Afghanistan as both a soldier and a senior civilian in the State Department and Defense Department. He was awarded the Bronze Star and received multiple cabinet-level written commendations for his service. At Evolution Kitchens, Glenn handles, design, materials acquisition and the business side of things. As you'll soon find out for yourself, he's truly passionate about both kitchens and saving you money. At home, Glenn is the proud husband to Amy Corliss, the owner of Little Bird Bakeshop, and father to 4 wonderful children.
