Excluding new appliances, our average kitchen remodel costs around $30,000 today. Depending on size and complexity, this can vary from $20,000 to $50,000. We RARELY go over $50,000, but the age of the full kitchen remodel costing less than $20,000 is also sadly over.
About half of the cost is materials and half is labor. Materials costs include:
Most kitchens require 200 to 400 hours of labor, including design and project management, with 280 hours as the average. For an average kitchen we charge around $17,000 in labor. This can vary from $10,000 to $25,000, again depending on size and complexity. On the higher end, we’re usually taking down a wall and moving around the layout of appliances and related utilities.
As for appliances, you can re-use the ones you have, or we can get you new ones. A full appliance set today costs anywhere from $2,500 on the low end to over $10,000 on the high end. This cost is in addition to the labor and materials described above. We hope that helps. Any way you cut it, we’re a lot less expensive than the competition!
